Since it was founded by Battersea and Wandsworth TUC, the Workers Beer Company has raised over £3,000,000 for the organisations that work with it.
Organisations like trades union branches, campaigns and solidarity groups send volunteers to pour and serve drinks in WBC bars and beer tents. The Company then donates £6.50 to the parent organisation for every hour that their volunteers contribute.
It’s a fun way for activists to make money for their organisation’s work. And we're now looking to recruit more teams of servers for some of the hottest music events in the UK this year.
